ARCS2 er en software-only fjernadgangsløsning, der giver dig mulighed for at fejlfinde, programmere eller endda styre dine Universal-robotter. ARCS2 leveres med UR Cap, til direkte installation på UR robottens teach pendant.

Du får fjernadgang til dine lokale (LAN) Universal Robots ved hjælp af VNC (eller SSH). De fleste standard VNC-klienter fungerer, f.eks. den kommercielt gratis TightVNC.

Hvis behovet opstår for fjernadgang til globale (WAN) Universal Robots, er dette også muligt ved hjælp af en VPN-forbindelse. OpenVPN er en open source VPN-klient, der er i stand til dette, men enhver VPN-klient kan bruges.
