The software is the glue in the technologies, whether it is robot programming, PLCs in process plants or Web applications with cloud and big data. Our software engineers and automation technologists have the toolbox full, so they can quickly and efficiently provide development and support of software solutions.

Robots, PLCs and user interface

Robots are an important player when considering automation. We have full focus on getting the robots to work as efficiently as possible for the specific solution. We use our experience as well as simulation tools, which enable us to deliver rapid program parts that can be executed before testing on a physics robot. This means that we can quickly detect inappropriate driving and calculate the correct lanes / runs before running in.

PLC is an important part of the interplay between robots and existing machines. It is important that we deliver the same plc / software architecture, so that we can make effective support afterwards. We therefore choose the right PLC, which creates performance and where there is room for extra expansion.

HMI helps to create an overview and can in most cases raise the company’s KPIs.

We use our experience to create HMI interfaces so that machines / solutions can be easily operated and serviced. That is why we use web-based platforms, which make it possible to access machines from any platform (Tablet, Mobile, PC).

Vision

We build our vision software from scratch, which means that we get 100% customized customer solutions. At the same time, we are not as dependent on external parameters such as light, dust, etc. as we are with traditional smart vision camera.

We use Halcon libraries to build our vision software around, it makes it possible to use virtually all vision technologies such as 2D and 3D Vision, OCR and 2D Code Reading. Halcon is known for some fast and stable algorithms that make it possible to use these technologies with much faster processing time than other makes and at the same time run on virtually any industrial PC.

Machine Learning – increase efficiency with an intelligent system

In Denmark, Machine learning is in its infancy, and Technicon is of course involved from the start. Machine learning is used where it is possible to automate time-consuming and repetitive tasks and predict behavior. It provides an opportunity to improve production and can, for example, help to optimize workflows, reduce errors or improve the individual user experience.

In short, machine learning is about creating computer systems that are capable of learning by collecting data and analyzing it. In this way, the system will be able to make predictions and make recommendations that will most likely lead to the desired result.

We will thus be able to create intelligent systems that can solve very complex tasks without having to manually program every single possible action.
